Research Guidelines

1) Brainstorm a group of keywords that relate to your topic. Note that there are often variants of names of artists and paintings. Refer to previous background reading in your class texts to build a list of keywords and alternate search terms such as, "Kunstkammers" OR "Wunderkammers" OR "Cabinets of Curiosities."

2) Use the databases, e-books, scholarly articles, and library catalog linked below to search for more information about your topic.

3) Start a project in NoodleTools (select CMOS, junior level) and share it with your teacher's project inbox. You can track and annotate your sources, take notes, and build an outline using NoodleTools. Make sure that each notecard has a title, a direct quote, your paraphrase and ideas about the quote, AND that it's connected to the correct source.
