Research Guidelines

This part of the course is solely driven by your individual curiosity, vision, and desired outcome. You can investigate anything you want, and choose a final product that excites you. Each project must draw on a significant body of research: including at least one oral interview, either with a leader in your chosen area of focus, or with a scholar of that area, and at least 15 additional scholarly or media sources. Each project (even the creative ones) must offer some kind of answer to a rigorous research question. But other than these expectations, you’ll be guided by your own choices and process.
